Sharing the Privilege
AHA! AND THE CHANCE TO SHARE OUR PRIVELEGE
We work with the clear idea that the fun and joy of watching world-class theatre should not be restricted only to children who can afford it.
Ranga Shankara has formed associations with NGOs like Children’s Lovecastle Trust, Parikrama and Akshara to bring children from under-privileged backgrounds to the theatre. Till August 2007, 6000 children have watched plays in this manner.
This was made possible by donations from employees of corporate houses who contributed independently to support this program. Employees from Arcot Systems, i-flex solutions, Accenture and Yahoo! India have made donations so far.
