"Stories from here and there, about us and someone else, about kings and soldiers, about then and now".

The importance and the relevance of stories remain unchanged through the years; it is the way we move forward. It was with this aim and the extraordinary circumstances that we found ourselves in that made us take our signature storytelling programme, ‘Little Cloud’ (under our ‘AHA! Theatre for Children’ wing) onto a digital platform. 15 of the country’s best theatre artistes came together to share 21 stories in 6 languages and the 2000-year-old traditional art form of Kutiyattam in Series 1; Series 2 went even bigger with our friends from the United States, Switzerland, Austria, and Germany joining our Indian artistes, resulting in 16 storytellers, 16 stories, 4 languages, and 2 Indian classical art forms. All the videos in both series were shot during the 2020 COVID-19 lockdown with just phone cameras!

Series 3 came to life in December 2020. 13 storytellers come together to perform 14 stories for children aged 4 and above, in a delightful mix of 6 languages (Kannada, English, Tamil, Hindi, Marathi, and Telugu) and the classical Indian tradition of Kutiyattam
- the perfect holiday gift for those young of age and young of heart!

As Arundhati Nag puts it, “Today, more than ever before, as we look into the way we have conducted our lives and the kind of world we are going to bequeath to the little ones, we need to share with them stories. Stories that will enlarge their sense of self-sufficiency, respect for others, sense of justice, sharing, caring, and many more ways to negotiate and shape the different world ahead.”
